Accounts Email

Is your accounts email  of control? Is your inbox stuffed to overflowing with personal and commercial messages?

Use these few simple tips to get your accounts email /inbox under control.

1. Use your filters.
Under options use your filters to full advantage. Create a filter for each of your friends. Using filters is a great way to have your email sorted into nice neat folders.

2. Set up filters for online retailers.
Create a folder for each online retailer or lump them all into one.

3. Saved from the spam filter
Still scrolling through your spam file for missed email? Make sure the email you are expecting is added to your contacts. Using electronic statements and notifications is great but you have to find. Adding your financial accounts to your contacts will ensure they are sorted and easily available.

4. Create contacts quickly
Add a contact after getting their email. This is the fastest and easiest way to separate the spam from wanted emails.

5. Designate a time to check email.
Interruptions drain your energy. Contrary to popular belief multi-tasking does not work. Constantly switching between tasks wastes more time than it saves. Some interruptions we have to deal with but email is not one of them. Let your contacts know that you only respond twice a day.
